Honestly, it might have been the most delicious gyoza I’ve ever eaten.

There is a deep corner called Tanukikoji Market in Tanukikoji 6-chome, a shopping street located between Sapporo’s Odori Park and Susukino.

Kirin is a shop located at the very back (south side) of Tanukikoji Market.

I visited on Saturday.　I made a reservation, but they said it was only open from 5 o’clock, so I visited at 5 o’clock.

There was no curtain or signboard before the store opened, but there was a line so I thought this was probably the place, so I waited there.

Opens exactly at 5 o’clock. we were taken to our seats. The atmosphere is quite casual.

Order

It is a 2 hour system.

Last order for food will be taken in one hour, and last order for drinks will be taken in one and a half hours.

Food takes time, so if possible, order in bulk at the beginning.

The system allows you to bring your own drinks from a nearby refrigerator.

Shinachiku appetizer. It’s satisfying to eat.

Taiwanese style egg roll. This is a dish often eaten as breakfast in Taiwan. The skin was chewier than the ones I had eaten in Taiwan in the past.

Avocado zasai(Szechuan pickles) salad. A unique dish containing a fresh type of zasai.

It has a lot of coriander in it, so be careful if you don’t like it.

And Gyoza!

They are round, each piece is large and voluminous, and the skin is thick, but the inside is full of vegetables and is delicious without being overwhelming!

Eat with sauce. This sauce also goes very well with gyoza.
